Here at the Wallace District Mining Museum, we’re committed to investing in education and research of the Coeur d’Alene Mining District and the Silver Valley.

Founded in 1956, the Wallace Mining Museum is a walk thru experience. Displayed through a multitude of exhibits, multimedia and artifacts are the three-dimensional objects and documents of the Coeur d’Alene Mining District and the Silver Valley.  Along with one of a kind mock mine experience walk through, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Seasonal Operations typically May through September. Weekends only April 27 & 28 and May 4 & 5. 

Daily Operations start May 11th - Sept 29th 9am to 3pm
