Fall For History 2024 "Bedlam in the Bitterroots" October 3rd-6th 2024.
October 3rd-6th 2024, We are offering a package that includes all Fall For History Events for the entire weekend event. Starting at 7pm on Thursday through Sunday at 3pm.
Package holders receive entry to the Thursday Kick Off Social, Friday's afternoon "You Got Mail" Presentation and evening Panel Discussion, Saturday's Burke Bus Tour and the Dinner and Program, then on Sunday the Preacher on Horseback Church Service, Historic Homes Tour and Closing Reception. Weekend Packages (Thurs-Sun) Click on the black "Register" button to see pricing.
Also, we are offering Ala Carte Tours for each event with limited ticketing for each event. Click on "Register" to see pricing for each Ala Carte Tour.
Events are located throughout Wallace.
Schedule of Events Fall For History 2024 "Bedlam in the Bitterroots"
October 3-6, 2024
Our Fall For History Festival is a full weekend event starting on Thursday Night where we have a meet and greet with our participants and ends Sunday afternoon. It's easy to slip into the niche' of our small but hugely Historic town of Wallace Idaho. The event includes guided historic home tours, convening with our local historians, attending a banquet style dinner party and program, the “Bloodshed in Burke” Bus Tour and walk through time to see inside of our historic Homes Tour. Come along with us to dive into our past and discover Wallace Idaho.
Oct 3rd Thursday night 7-9 p.m. at the Jameson Hotel & Saloon. Fall For History Kick-Off Event and Registration Check In will feature piano musician Carl Rowe with drinks and light appetizers.

Oct 4th Friday at 1p.m. Presentation “One Penny, Two Penny, Three Penny Postcards” a pictorial history of the Coeur d’Alene’s via old postcards. A sampling of the Dick Caron Collection of more than 500 postcards of the area.
Location: Sixth Street Theater 212 6th Street, Wallace, Idaho
Oct 4th Friday at 7-9 PM Panel Discussion of Historic Proportions. Get immersed in the history of the destruction of the Frisco Mill in 1892 by striking union miners causing Bedlam in the Bitterroots. Five presenters paint the story of the life and times of the living characters that played roles in the mining wars.

Oct 5th Saturday Bloodshed in Burke Bus Tour 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM The popular Burke, Idaho Tour Grab a ride on our tour bus and learn about the Tiger Hotel, riots, bombings, shootouts, mines, snow slides. This tour is 2 hours and includes 5 historical sites. Tour times depend on package or ala carte.

Oct 5th Saturday Night Dinner and Program "Good Old, Bad Old Days" Doors Open at 5:30pm and Dinner at 6:00pm at the Elks Lodge with program starting after 7:00pm until 9:00pm we are offering a Steak and Chicken Dinner with salad, veggie, roll and dessert.

Oct 6th Sunday "Historic Homes Tours & Hot Tea" Our Historic Homes Tour is a walk-through time, seeing the inside of these historic homes is like traveling back in time and understanding the true sense of the era they behold. Tour times selected during registration. various Tours every half hour from 10am to 12:30pm depending on package or ala carte.

Oct 6th Sunday at 10:00am Horseback Preacher Service "Old Time Religion". Attend the Sunday Circuit Riding Pastor who gives a Sunday Service at the Prayer Station
