2026 Fall Hiawatha Trail Run - Negative Split

This race has it all! Breathtaking tunnels (one of the longest railroad tunnels open to foot traffic!), trestles and even waterfalls at the beautiful Route of the Hiawatha! This trail is one of the most iconic trails in the country crossing through both Montana and Idaho. Though this trail is known to bicyclists for its beauty, join us one day out of the season to experience the trail as a runner or walker. This will truly be a running experience of a lifetime, and you don't want to miss out on this beauty of an event.

September 26, 2026, ROUTE OF THE HIAWATHA Marathon | Half Marathon | 10K COURSE Join us for a bucket-list worthy race at the Route of the Hiawatha. Run over scenic trestles, past waterfalls, and through some of the longest railroad tunnels open to foot traffic (1.8miles long). GREAT SWAG Runners receive finisher shirt, medal, and food. Start / Finish and Parking is at Taft, Montana. Times listed are Pacific Time. NO CELL SERVICE.
