Wallace Idaho has a tremendous background in movie making. It hosted two major Studios who love to bring big projects here. Universal Studios Dante’s Peak in 1996 and in the ‘70s Michael Cimino’s Heavens Gate. Your winning short film is sure to get some attention!

We are excited to welcome back the Idaho Panhandle Film Festival on Saturday April 18th from 10a-5p at the Wallace Elks Lodge #331 for their annual event. Its a wonderful event featuring local, national and international films and exposes the fantastic creative and art of filmmaking. We invite you to join in the this captivating event. Featuring Nell Shipman Retrospective is the morning session, Indie Filmmakers with an afternoon Q&A Panel, International from 5-7pm

Canadian-born Nell Shipman starred in, wrote, directed and independently produced movies from 1912 to 1925. The panelist presenting Filmmaker, Co-Founder/Director - Post Alley Film Festival and Gwyn Hervochon associate professor and archivist at Albertsons Library in Boise.
